...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT LITCHFIELD AND EASTERN DUTCHESS
COUNTIES THROUGH 730 PM EDT...

At 634 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Amenia to near Hopewell Junction. Movement was
east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Torrington, New Milford, Sherman, Pawling, Thomaston, Amenia, Kent,
Sharon, Millbrook, Litchfield, Northwest Harwinton, Oakville,
Terryville, Woodbury Center, Gaylordsville, Hopewell Junction, New
Preston, Cornwall Bridge, Wingdale, and Dover Plains.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
