This hazardous weather outlook is for central Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Outlook: Showers and thunderstorms.

Hazards: Gusty winds, brief heavy rain, small hail, and lightning.

Timing: This evening and tonight.

Discussion: An upper level trough could trigger showers and
thunderstorms this evening and tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Outlook: There will be periodic chances for thunderstorms over all
or parts of central Indiana throughout the forecast period. Any
storms that develop through the holiday weekend are not expected to
be severe though. However, any storm is capable of producing cloud
to ground lightning, gusty winds and brief heavy rain. It is too
early to tell if severe storms will be possible after that.

Very warm and humid conditions will move in for the Memorial Day
weekend, with afternoon heat indices in the lower and middle 90s.

Discussion: A series of upper waves and a washed out front could
interact with a warm humid airmass to produce some off and on chances
for thunderstorms across central Indiana through the next seven days.

Spotter activation is not anticipated.
