.DISCUSSION...

Steady light rain will move into the Asotin area Thursday night and
linger into early Friday morning with rainfall amounts between 0.10-0.20".
General cloudy conditions are expected Friday afternoon with a 60% chance
for on and off showers.  If clouds remain thick, precipitation will be very
light and mainly sprinkles.  Breaks in the clouds would result in slightly
heavier showers producing a few hundreths. Would not rule out a weak thunderstorm
just south of Asotin but this comes with very low confidence and less than a 10%
probability over the fairgrounds.  Clouds linger over the area Friday night through
Sunday with a 20% chance of on and off showers throughout the period.  The
highest chances will come during the warmest time of day (1PM - 7PM).  A front
sweeping through Sunday afternoon will usher breezy west to northwest winds
into the fairgrounds.
