Storms are expected to become severe, with all severe hazards in play, as well as localized heavy rainfall capable of flooding, and frequent deadly lightning. It will remain very warm and humid until this system completes its passage, after which, a refreshingly cooler and less humid air mass will take hold by Friday and last through the weekend.
