...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM NOON TO 11 PM MDT TUESDAY...

.DISCUSSION...After a dry overnight period with light and variable
to northwest winds 5-10 mph, more active weather is expected
Tuesday. Generally, expect winds to favor a westerly directional
component with magnitudes increasing to around 7-15 mph along with
some gusts around 25 mph or so. However, will see isolated to
scattered convective development through the afternoon on into the
early evening. In addition to lightning, anything that develops
near the burn area will have the potential to result in gusty and
erratic outflow winds. With any stronger cell, there is potential
for some of these outflow gusts to be in excess of 50 mph.
Activity will trend downward in strength and coverage after
sunset, with northwest winds then generally once again favored
through the night. Fair humidity recoveries are expected
overnight, pushing to near 50% or potentially higher especially if
much in the way of measurable precipitation was received from
daytime convection. A similar evolution to the weather is expected
through the day Wednesday, with isolated to scattered convection
once again developing through the afternoon, bringing the threat
of lightning and gusty erratic outflow wind gusts.
