Northeast Blue Mountains-Lower Garfield and Asotin Counties-
Including the cities of Anatone, Peola, Clarkston, and Pomeroy

Through 8 pm, scattered showers with embedded thunderstorms will
be tracking across the Blue mountains and into the Snake River
valley. Heavy downpours, small hail, wind gusts to 25 mph and
occasional lightning are possible with the stronger storms,
especially near Spruce Springs Campground to Anatone on Highway
129. The storms will be tracking to the northeast at 15 mph, and
will gradually weaken this evening.


Northern Panhandle-Northeast Mountains-
Including the cities of Sandpoint, Rathdrum, Bonners Ferry,
Priest River, Eastport, Colville, Deer Park, Chewelah, Newport,
and Kettle Falls

Isolated thunderstorms will continue to track along the Canadian
border, from Northport to Metaline to Naples and Bonners Ferry.
Expect brief downpours, small hail, gusty winds and occasional
lightning with these storm. The storms are tracking to the east
at 15 mph and should gradually weaken this evening.
