341 AM CDT Mon Apr 23 2018

An area of high pressure extended from southwest Minnesota across
Wisconsin and the Great Lakes this morning. This high was
providing clear skies to most of the region. A cold front was
moving into the far northwest corner of Minnesota where skies were
partly to mostly cloudy. Temperatures were generally in the 30s
and 40s.

The area of high pressure will not move much today and remain the
dominant weather feature for much of the Upper Midwest. The cold
front will advance very slowly east across the northern sections
of Minnesota. Skies will be mostly sunny, except along the cold
front where conditions will be partly to mostly cloudy. High
temperatures will be in the 60s and 70s.

The area of high pressure will slowly move east tonight. This will
allow the cold front to advance into central Minnesota. Skies
should be partly to mostly cloudy near the front and mostly clear
elsewhere. Low temperature will be in the 30s and 40s.
