...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL MONTGOMERY...
NORTHERN CHAMBERS...LIBERTY AND NORTHEASTERN HARRIS COUNTIES THROUGH
330 PM CDT...

At 258 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from Sour Lake to 6 miles
southeast of Devers to 6 miles north of Anahuac. Movement was east at
45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Liberty, Dayton, Barrett, Kingwood, Crosby, Mont Belvieu, Roman
Forest, Old River-Winfree, Ames, Daisetta, Hardin, Plum Grove,
Kenefick, Devers, Dayton Lakes, Lake Houston Dam, Lake Houston,
Sheldon, northeastern Atascocita, and Moss Hill.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for
southeastern Texas.
