FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.
Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.
.SYNOPSIS...
Southwest winds are gradually declining over Lake Michigan this
morning. South to southwest winds with gusts up to 25 kts
gradually rebuild tonight into Friday as low pressure of 29.3
inches moves eastward into southern Ontario. Another area of low
pressure will develop over Illinois Friday night and move
northeastward across Lake Michigan on Saturday. Southwest winds
will shift to the west Saturday afternoon and to the northwest on
Sunday as the low exits to the northeast. Will need to keep an eye
on gales for the southern half of Lake Michigan on Saturday.
