The National Weather Service in Topeka has issued a

* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
  Northeastern Franklin County in east central Kansas...

* Until 800 PM CDT

* At 501 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain had fallen this
  afternoon due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small
  stream flooding in the advisory area. Two inches to three inches
  of rain have already fallen and additional rainfall is likely into
  the early evening.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Ottawa and Rantoul.

This includes Interstate 35 between mile markers 182 and 194.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
