...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...
  Coastal waters from Altamaha Sound to Fernandina Beach FL out 20
  NM...
  Coastal waters from Fernandina Beach to St. Augustine FL out 20
  NM...

At 111 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated showers and thunderstorms,
capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These showers and
thunderstorms were located 7 nm northeast of Talbot Island, or 38 nm
south of St. Simons Island, moving northwest at 25 knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until this storm passes.
