Fire Weather Planning Forecast for East Tennessee...Southwest
Virginia...and Extreme Southwest North Carolina
National Weather Service Morristown TN
245 AM EDT Sun May 16 2021

.DISCUSSION...

A weak frontal boundary will be present across southwest Virginia
and parts of northeast Tennessee today into Monday, producing some
scattered showers and perhaps a few isolated thunderstorms mainly
in the afternoon and evening hours.

High pressure will then build into the southern Appalachians for the
latter half of this week, producing much warmer and drier conditions.
