Florida Bay, Hawk Channel and Straits of Florida from Ocean Reef to
south of Dry Tortugas, and the extreme southeastern Gulf of
Mexico, including The Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary

Seas are given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for Keys coastal waters from Ocean Reef to Dry Tortugas
1037 AM EST Wed Feb 19 2020

.SYNOPSIS....A ridge of high pressure over North Florida will
shift southward through Central Florida this afternoon, then
weaken and dissipate over South Florida and the Keys Thursday. A
cold front will arrive Friday, with a northerly wind shift
preceding the front Thursday night. Freshening northerly breezes
will become strong late Friday and Friday night. Fresh to strong,
northeast to east breezes are expected Saturday through Sunday.
Winds will gradually slacken by Monday.
