...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM OVER THE WATERS OF THE OUTER GULF NEAR L
TOWER...

The areas affected include...
Gulf Waters from East Cape Sable to Chokoloskee 20 to 60 nm out and
beyond 5 fathoms...

At 336 AM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists detected a a
strong thunderstorm, capable of producing wind gusts near 30 knots.
This thunderstorm was located 8 nm north of L Tower, moving southeast
at 10 knots.

Locations that will be affected include...
L Tower.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Prepare for thunderstorms with wind gusts near 30 knots, locally
rough and confused seas, occasional lightning strikes, and
potentially blinding downpours. Get to a safe port as quickly, and as
safely as possible. When downpours reduce visibility, slow down.
