Southeasterly winds became quite breezy today as a storm system
begins to develop over the Rocky Mountains. Gusts over 40 mph were
recorded in parts of the Sandhills and over 30 mph for much of the
area. Increasing clouds also helped keep highs in mid to upper
60s.

Clouds will thicken even more overnight as moisture gets drawn
into the area. Mist or drizzle is possible into the early morning
hours as winds remain gusty. Lows will be mild in the lower 50s,
while tomorrow highs will generally in the mid to upper 60s.
Thunderstorms will quickly develop midday somewhere near Highway
83 and push to the east, possibly producing damaging winds or
hail.
