A strong spring storm brought significant moisture and blustery
winds to western and central Nebraska today. Precipitation totals
exceeded one inch in parts of the northern and eastern Sandhills,
while light snow accumulations up to one inch were reported in the
panhandle and western Sandhills. Highs ranged from the mid 40s to
lower 50s. Northerly winds topped 40 mph across the region with
the peak gust of 56 mph at Imperial.

Conditions calm down tonight as the clouds slowly clear and winds
lighten to around 10 mph. Temperatures fall to around 30. Mostly
sunny skies and highs near 60 are expected for Sunday.
