Thunderstorms rolled through western and north central Nebraska
yesterday evening, some of which were severe with large hail or
damaging winds. The combination of the slow moving storms and
torrential rainfall led to flooding in some locations as well.
Totals exceeded an inch across far southwest Nebraska and even two
inches around Thedford. Lows this morning ranged from near 50 in
the panhandle to upper 50s north central.

Another round of storms is likely this evening, including the
threat of severe weather across southwest Nebraska. The day will
start out mostly clear, then storms build later on. Highs will
generally be in the mid 80s with south winds up to 15 mph.
