Island TX out 60 nautical miles including Sabine and
Calcasieu Lakes and Vermilion and Cote Blanche Bays

Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the
highest one third of the waves, along with the occasional
height of the average highest ten percent of the waves.

.SYNOPSIS...

An increasing pressure gradient between high pressure to our north
and Hurricane Milton in the Gulf will cause winds to increase
through the middle of the week. Mariners will see sustained winds
in our outer waters rising to 15 to 20 knots with gusts up to 30
knots. Based on these winds, a Small Craft Advisory is in effect
for all outer coastal waters with a caution statement for the
inner coastal waters.

Buoys off the Louisiana coast are showing waves around 3.5 feet
with a 7-second period. Waves in the Gulf will continue to build
as Milton tracks east, with wave heights on Tuesday reaching 5
feet and on Wednesday reaching up to 7 feet before subsiding on
Thursday back down to 3 feet. The swell from this hurricane will
also pose a threat, with a maximum period on Wednesday of 10 to 11
seconds. With coastal inundation a concern starting Tuesday and
lasting until Wednesday.
