The National Weather Service in Tulsa has issued a

* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
  Benton County in northwestern Arkansas...
  Western Washington County in northwestern Arkansas...

* Until 245 PM CDT

* At 1138 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding in
  the advisory area. One to two inches of rain have fallen in the
  past hour along a line from near Gentry to near Lincoln, and
  additional thunderstorms producing heavy rain are likely to
  develop to the east of this area closer to Interstate 49 in the
  next couple of hours.

  Lowell...                         Farmington...
  Prairie Grove...                  Gentry...
  Tontitown...                      Bethel Heights...

  Decatur...                        Greenland...
  Highfill...                       Springtown...

Additional rainfall of 1 to 3 inches is expected over the area. This
additional rain will result in minor flooding.

This includes Interstate 49 between mile markers 47 and 84, and
between mile markers 86 and 93.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
