Through 8pm...

Rain showers and perhaps a thunderstorm or two will
be possible across the extreme southern Texas Panhandle, South
Plains and southern Rolling Plains. The primary threat will be
occasional lightning though a few wind gusts to 40 mph may
accompany the stronger storms as they slowly drift south at less
than five miles per hour. Rainfall amounts should remain quite
light with most areas remaining dry.
