...SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON...

.DISCUSSION...
An area of low pressure and cold front will bring a 20% chance of
showers and thunderstorms this afternoon. Winds will be breezy
once again today, with northwest winds aligning with topography
along the Salmon River. Brief stronger gusts are possible from
showers and thunderstorms. Winds will take on a more northerly
component late this afternoon and evening, especially along
ridgelines. Temperatures today will be about 10 degrees cooler
than Monday with 10% higher minimum humidity. A warming and drying
trend will begin Wednesday and continue late this week. Winds will
be lighter on Wednesday, then become breezy from the west Thursday
and Friday.

Sky/weather.........Mostly sunny, becoming partly cloudy with a
                    20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms
                    in the afternoon.
Max temperature.....78 to 87.
Min humidity........29 to 34 percent.
CWR.................5 percent.
Wind - 20 foot......North to northwest 6 to 12 mph. Gusts up to 18 mph
                    in the afternoon, except up to 22 mph on ridgelines.
