Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure across the area will retreat eastward
ahead of a cold front moving into the northwest Gulf Thu. The
front will reach the far eastern Gulf by Fri evening, where it
will become stationary and weaken to a trough Sat. Scattered
showers and thunderstorms are expected with this frontal system.


.TODAY...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft.
.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building
to 3 ft late.
.THU...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft.
.THU NIGHT...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft.
.FRI...S to SW winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.
.FRI NIGHT...W to NW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front from near 31N67W to 24N71W will
gradually dissipate today. The next cold front will move off the
southeastern United States coast by Sat. Scattered showers and
thunderstorms, some with gusty winds, are expected to affect much
of the area north of 27N Fri through late Sat.

.TODAY...E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 to
4 ft N of 27N.
.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N,
and 3 to 4 ft N of 27N.
.THU...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 to
4 ft N of 27N.
