Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A weak high pressure ridge extending from the
western Atlantic across the northern Gulf will persist through
the week. A low pressure trough developing over the Yucatan
Peninsula each day will move westward and produce fresh to
locally strong NE to E winds over the adjacent offshore waters
each evening. A low pressure trough will develop over the SW
Gulf on Wed and track northwestward toward the Texas coast
through Fri.

.TONIGHT...SE winds less than 10 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.
