.Synopsis for the southern California coast and Santa Barbara
Channel including the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary
and National Park...at 20Z, or 1 PM PDT, a 1024 MB high pressure
center was located about 500 NM southwest of Point Conception. A
1000 MB thermal low was centered in central Nevada. Patchy fog,
locally dense with visibility under one mile, will affect portions of
the coastal waters today.
