High pressure over the eastern Dakotas will exit across Minnesota
Tuesday morning. The result will be increasing winds out of the south
Tuesday afternoon. The next chance of light snow will arrive over
south central South Dakota Tuesday afternoon, before shifting over to
eastern South Dakota and western Minnesota Tuesday night as an upper
level disturbance slides overhead. After a brief break, another
couple of chances of light snow will arrive Friday into Friday
evening, again mainly for the southeastern half of South Dakota and
western Minnesota, and over eastern South Dakota Saturday afternoon
through Sunday.

Temperatures will fall into the single digits below to teens below
zero by early Tuesday morning, and rise into the teens above zero
Tuesday afternoon.
