Regional Synopsis
National Weather Service Morristown TN
250 AM EDT Sat Aug 17 2019

High pressure and relatively dry air will help keep thunderstorm
development to a minimum this weekend. However, moisture will be
gradually increasing over the next several days leading to the
development of a few showers and thunderstorms. The best chance for
rain will be later in the work week, as another cool frontal
boundary moves into the Southern Appalachian region. Above normal
temperatures can be expected well into next week with some relief
possible by next weekend behind the weak frontal boundary.
