THE MONTH OF OCTBER AT THE GRAND FORKS UNIVERSITY (NWS) SAW BELOW
NORMAL TEMPERATURES. THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE WAS 38.3 DEGREES WHICH
IS 4.8 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL. THE MONTH STARTED AND ENDED COOLER,
WITH PERIODS OF ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES SEEN AS WELL.

PRECIPITATION FOR THE MONTH WAS WELL BELOW NORMAL. TOTAL RAINFALL
WAS 0.37 INCHES WHICH WAS 1.60 INCHES BELOW NORMAL.
