THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE IN NOVEMBER 2020 WAS WELL ABOVE NORMAL. IN
FACT, IT RANKED AS THE SECOND WARMEST NOVEMBER ON RECORD. IT WAS THE
WARMEST NOVEMBER SINCE 1985, WHICH WAS THE WARMEST NOVEMBER ON
RECORD.

MONTHLY PRECIPITATION WAS 106 PERCENT OF NORMAL. IT WAS THE WETTEST
NOVEMBER SINCE 2018, WHEN 7.68 INCHES OF PRECIPITAITON FELL.

MONTHLY SNOWFALL WAS 0 PERCENT OF NORMAL. NOVEMBER 2017 WAS THE LAST
NOVEMBER WHEN NO SNOW FELL.

A RECORD COOL HIGH TEMPERATURE OF 49 DEGREES WAS SET ON NOVEMBER 2ND.
THIS TIED THE RECORD PREVIOUSLY SET IN 2014.

A RECORD HIGH TEMPERATURE OF 76 DEGREES WAS SET ON NOVEMBER 7TH. THIS
BROKE THE OLD RECORD OF 74 DEGREES FROM 1965.

A RECORD HIGH TEMPERATURE OF 77 DEGREES WAS SET ON NOVEMBER 8TH. THIS
TIED THE RECORD PREVIOUSLY SET IN 1987.

WEATHER RECORDS FOR THE DULLES VA AREA HAVE BEEN RECORDED AT WHAT IS
NOW WASHINGTON DULLES INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT SINCE 1960. THE OFFICIAL
RECORD CONSISTS SOLELY OF DATA RECORDED AT THE AIRPORT. TEMPERATURE
AND PRECIPITATION RECORDS BEGAN IN 1960. SNOWFALL RECORDS BEGAN IN
1962.
