Hydrologic Outlook
National Weather Service Missoula MT
959 AM PDT Fri Jun 26 2020

...Sharp rises to small streams and mainstem rivers possible Tuesday
through Friday next week...

Rainfall will develop across western Montana and north central Idaho
Sunday, June 28th and will continue through Tuesday, June 30th.
Confidence continues to increase for a period of heavy rainfall to
occur Sunday and Monday. While the exact placement of heaviest
rainfall remains
uncertain, 24-hour precipitation amounts in excess of 1.5 inches in
the higher terrain are possible. Excessive rainfall may produce
dramatic increases in small stream and mainstem river water levels.

Given the potential for excessive rainfall, there is growing concern
for small stream and mainstem river flooding Monday onward.
