This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of north and central
New Mexico.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

A Red Flag Warning remains in effect through early this evening from
the Sandia, Manzano, and Gallinas mountains westward to the Arizona
border where low humidities combined with strong winds will create
critical fire weather conditions.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Daily rounds of showers and thunderstorms will continue through
Thursday mainly for areas along and east of the central mountain
chain. The severe threat looks to be limited, but any thunderstorms
will still pose a lightning risk as well as gusty and erratic winds.
Showers and thunderstorms increase in coverage on Friday, and a few
strong storms may be possible across the east.

Spotter activation is not anticipated.
