This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North and Central Georgia.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight...

Isolated thunderstorms are possible this afternoon across central
Georgia as a cold front moves through the area. The primary
threats with any storms that occur will be locally heavy rainfall
and gusty winds.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday...

Another storm system will affect the area on Sunday and Monday.
At this time, heavy rainfall appears to be the primary threat,
which could lead to localized flooding concerns. Uncertainty
still exists regarding the strength of this system, so please
continue to monitor for any changes to the forecast.

There is also the potential for light snow across far north
Georgia late Monday night and Tuesday morning as the coldest
airmass of the season builds in over the area.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not requested but spotters are encouraged
to submit reports of severe weather through the web by going to
weather.gov/atlanta. Please relay any information about observed
severe weather to the NWS while following all local, state, and
CDC guidelines.
