This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the South Plains, Rolling
Plains and the far Southern Texas Panhandle.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Warm temperatures and dry westerly winds will bring elevated fire
weather conditions to the South Plains and southern Rolling Plains
this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

A mix of rain and snow, with the potential for a period of all snow
in the western areas of the South Plains and southern Texas
Panhandle, will be possible late Friday night through Saturday
morning. Temperatures are then forecast to fall below freezing on
Saturday night, with the potential for black ice to develop on roads
and especially overpasses.
