...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN PECOS AND
SOUTHEASTERN REEVES COUNTIES THROUGH 600 PM CDT...

At 516 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 13
miles northeast of Saragosa, or 18 miles south of Pecos. This
thunderstorm was nearly stationary.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Saragosa, Verhalen, Toyah Lake, and B F Goodrich Testing Track.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 10 near mile marker 210.
 Interstate 20 between mile markers 28 and 31.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
