Rating: EF1 Estimated Peak Wind: 95 mph Path Length /statute/: 0.42 miles Path Width /maximum/: 50 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 05/18/2025 Start Time: 10:26 PM CDT Start Location: 1 E Hernando / DeSoto County / MS Start Lat/Lon: 34.8296 / -89.9603 End Date: 05/18/2025 End Time: 10:27 PM CDT End Location: 2 E Hernando / DeSoto County / MS End Lat/Lon: 34.8304 / -89.9532 Survey Summary: A short-lived and narrow EF1 tornado with 95 mph winds touched down on Thousand Oaks Drive between Oak Bridge Drive and Jaybird Road. Damage consisted of uprooted and snapped trees in this area. The tornado dissipated east of Jaybird.
