For the following areas...
S of Cape Lookout NC to Surf City NC out to 20 nm...

At 1140 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing
waterspouts was located over Ar345, or 7 nm southeast of Bogue Inlet,
moving east at 20 knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to 40 knots.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
         hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
         higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

Locations impacted include...
Ar342, Ar345, Ar340, and Ar330.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily
overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Seek safe harbor
immediately.
