Clouds and periods of drizzle will persist over south central and southeast Wisconsin through mid evening. The mid level clouds may take until Wednesday morning to clear across far southeast Wisconsin. Lighter northeast to east winds are expected on Wednesday with mostly sunny skies. Mixing heights will be around 4000 feet with good smoke dispersal for inland areas, but lower and fair near the lakeshore due to stable and cool lake air.
