Tranquil weather with plenty of sunshine will continue for today.
However, a low pressure system sliding east across the central
Plains and through the mid Mississippi River Valley Friday will
bring an increase in cloud cover along with spreading a mix of rain
and snow showers for southwestern Minnesota, potentially producing
minor snowfall accumulations. After a break from precipitation over
the weekend, additional chances for rain and snow return to the
forecast for the early portion of the next work week.

High temperatures will generally range from the mid 30s to the upper
40s into through weekend, followed by a slight cooling trend through
the first half of next week.
