...ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS FRIDAY AND SATURDAY ACROSS
WESTERN MINNESOTA...
.DISCUSSION...
Fire weather concerns will increase on Friday for locations west
of I-35 in west/central Minnesota. Breezy southwest winds are
forecast to warm temperatures well into the 80s, with highs near
90 degrees possible in far western Minnesota. The significant warm
up will drop minimum RH`s into the 20-30% range during the
afternoon. While temperatures will be slightly cooler on Saturday,
the passage of a cold front early in the day will bring drier air
to the region, such that minimum RH`s will once again drop into
the 20-30% range across central and southern Minnesota. Elevated
fire weather concerns may persist through the first half of
Sunday, before the return of widespread wet weather for the second
half of the day.
