Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior

For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 29.1 inch low will track across Hudson Bay and and
reach James Bay tonight. This low will pull a 29.7 inch trough
across Lake Superior early this morning that will linger through
the day today. Friday, a 29.7 inch low will organize over the
Central Plains and then lift toward the Upper Great Lakes. This
low will track through the region late Friday night into Saturday.
Weak troughing of 29.9 inches is expected to linger over the
region Sunday before a high pressure of 30.0 inches shifts over
the region late Sunday. This high is expected to linger over the
region into next week.
