This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for west central Minnesota,
central South Dakota, north central South Dakota and northeast
South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today (Friday).

A strong cold front will pass through the region today. Strong wind
gusts from the northwest will develop with 20 to 30 mph common with a
few locations west gusting to 50 mph or greater. A few snow showers
are expected along with the cold front.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Bitterly cold arctic air will cover the region with temperatures much
below normal. Apparent (feels like) temperatures of 30 to 40 below
zero will be common Sunday and Monday mornings with little warmup
during the day. Milder temperatures are expected by Wednesday.
