.An incoming weather system will continue to spread rain into the
southern panhandle through Thursday night with gusty winds of 25 to
35 mph possible. Heaviest rainfall rates will be Thursday evening to
early Friday morning.

...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1145 AM AKDT FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Ward Lake near areas around the Ward Lake recreational
  area.

* WHEN...Until 1145 AM AKDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 706 PM AKDT, river gauge reports indicate steady water
    levels, but heavy rain is moving into the advisory area.
    Minor flooding is expected to begin shortly, especially near
    Ward Lake. Between 0.1 and 0.42 inches of rain have fallen
    Thursday evening. The expected rainfall rate is 0.2-0.5
    inches in 3 hours. Additional rainfall amounts of 1.5 to 2
    inches are possible.
