The National Weather Service in Wakefield has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...

  Coastal Waters from Cape Charles Light to the VA/NC Border out 20
NM...

  Currituck Sound...

* Until 915 AM EST.

* At 805 AM EST, showers were located along a line extending from
  near Sandbridge to 17 nm west of Knotts Island Bay, moving
  northeast at 35 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Chesapeake Light Tower, 10 Nm East Of Virginia Beach Oceanfront,
  Virginia Beach Oceanfront, Rudee Inlet, Sandbridge, Buoy 4a
  Drydocks and Deal Island.
