* Special Marine Warning for...

  Currituck Sound...
  Coastal Waters from the NC/VA Border to Currituck Beach Light NC
out 20 NM...
  Waters from the NC/VA Border to Currituck Beach Light NC 20 to 40
NM...

* Until 545 AM EST.

* At 426 AM EST, a line of showers and strong thunderstorms were
  located along a line extending from 12 nm west of Currituck Sound
  to 10 nm northwest of The Vicinity Of Gum Neck, moving east at 35
  knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  South Tower, Currituck Beach, Currituck Sound, Currituck Beach
  Light, Knotts Island Bay, Deal Island and Kill Devil Hills.
