SOUTHEASTERN BERTIE...CURRITUCK...AND SOUTHERN CHOWAN COUNTIES AND
THE SOUTHEASTERN CITY OF VIRGINIA BEACH...

At 345 PM EST, radar indicated showers were located along a line
extending from near Moyock to near Plymouth. Movement was east at 40
mph.

Wind gusts in excess of 40 mph are possible with these showers.

Locations impacted include...
Currituck, Elizabeth City, Camden, Hertford, Winfall, Elizabeth City
State University, Grandy, Weeksville, Chapanoke, Cape Colony, Snug
Harbor, Nixonton, Shiloh, Indiantown, Corolla, Burgess, Old Trap,
Whitehall Shores, Valhalla and Moyock.

Strong wind gusts are possible with these showers. These wind gusts
are capable of knocking down tree limbs, small or weakened trees, and
blowing around trash cans, potted plants, lawn furniture, and other
light outdoor objects.
