...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL WHEELER AND
SOUTHERN HEMPHILL COUNTIES THROUGH 645 PM CDT...

At 620 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles north of Briscoe, or 15 miles south of Canadian, moving
northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Briscoe.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
the Panhandle of Texas.
