This hazardous weather outlook is for northern Lower Michigan...
eastern Upper Michigan...and adjacent nearshore waters of Lake
Michigan...Lake Huron and Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...Through tonight.

A strong winter storm will bring significant amounts of freezing
rain tonight, especially across eastern upper and portions of the
interior of northern lower Michigan. Please see the latest
winter weather headlines for additional details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

The winter storm will continue to impact northern Michigan Sunday
through Sunday night, with very gusty winds leading to widespread
blowing and drifting snow and whiteout conditions Sunday
afternoon into early Monday. Please see the latest winter weather
headlines for additional details.

There is the potential for ice jams to develop on area rivers.
Flooding may occur upstream from any ice jams that develop.
