Daily River and Lake Summary
National Weather Service Boston/Norton MA
1202 PM EDT Tue Oct 23 2018

Low pressure moving through New England will bring scattered
showers this afternoon, especially to northern Massachusetts,
before it heads offshore tonight. Rainfall totals will average
around 0.25 inch across northern Massachusetts, with lesser
amounts elsewhere.

The low will head toward the Canadian maritimes on Wednesday and
behind it will be drier and colder conditions on gusty northwest
winds.

Another surge of unseasonably chilly air moves into the region
Thursday and Friday as a large high pressure area builds east from
the Great Lakes.

Area main stem river levels will remain nearly stationary over the
next 24 to 48 hours.

These forecasts include 24 hour precipitation for the period ending
at 7 am today, and forecast precipitation through 7 am tomorrow.
