At 1205 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a heavy shower over Putnam, or 15 miles north of Plainfield, moving east at 45 mph. Winds in excess of 40 mph were likely occurring with this shower. Some thunder is possible. Locations impacted include... Woonsocket, Smithfield, Burrillville, Uxbridge, North Smithfield, Glocester, Putnam, Thompson, Blackstone, Douglas, Woodstock, Pomfret and Millville. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
