...PATCHY DENSE FOG MOVING ACROSS THE COASTAL WATERS...

Satellite imagery, coastal observations and web cams show that
patchy fog is moving across portions of the coastal waters this
morning. Fog could reduce visibilities to 1 mile or less for short
periods of time across the Beaufort County waters and the Georgia
waters. The patchy fog is moving quickly eastward and will not
produce a prolonged period of visibility reductions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners are urged to navigate with extreme care. If you must
navigate in these conditions, proceed with caution. Use proper
fog signals, including fog horns. Make sure all navigational
running lights are on.

Please relay any reports of sea fog to the Charleston or Tybee
Island Coast Guard stations and ask them to immediately forward
your report to the National Weather Service in Charleston.
