...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN KIOWA...SOUTHEASTERN
MEADE...BARBER...COMANCHE AND CLARK COUNTIES THROUGH 1000 PM CDT...

At 854 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 9 miles north of Freedom to near Gate. Movement
was northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Aetna around 905 PM CDT.
  Englewood and Buttermilk around 910 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of these storms include Acres, Sitka,
Ashland, Coldwater, Protection, Lake Coldwater, Lake City, Wilmore
and Sun City.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for
south central and southwestern Kansas.
