.DISCUSSION...
No hazardous fire weather conditions are expected at this time.
Winds and relative humidity values will remain outside of critical
thresholds.
A quick shot of moisture today across the central Fire Zones will
keep most of the threat of hazardous fire weather conditions near
zero. Min RHs will remain elevated in the 60% and higher range. The
best chance for a wetting rain remains across the far southern fire
zones, but additional rainfall totals are expected to be less than a
quarter of an inch. Winds out of the NW will pick up gradually today
and will continue to be gusty going into Tuesday; around 10-15 mph
at time.
Minimum RH values will fall toward the 20% range tomorrow, but
whether any fuels are available from any lingering snow and the
additional rain remain to be seen. Regardless, dry conditions may
finally present a decent burn window across some of the fire zones.
