This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North and Central Georgia.

.DAY ONE...Tonight...

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.

A Wind Advisory is in effect across north Georgia and portions of
central Georgia until 8 PM this evening. Gusty winds could blow
down tree limbs and a few power outages may result.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday...

Confidence is increasing for a potential severe weather outbreak
across the area Sunday and Sunday night. We remain several days
removed from this event so details will be refined and things can
certainly change but the potential exists for tornadoes, some of
which could be strong. This will be in addition to the threat of
damaging winds and large hail. A risk of flash flooding will also
be present with two to three inches of rain forecast over a
thirty- six hour period with locally higher amounts possible.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
