This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska...
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...

A powdery snow is forecast to develop mainly along and west of
Highway 25 this evening and persist overnight. Continued breezy winds
may lead to some blowing snow reducing visibilities as it is falling
across eastern Colorado. Most likely area for accumulating snow up
to 3 inches lies across Kit Carson and Cheyenne counties in Colorado.
Be prepared for slick roads if traveling!

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for Kit Carson and
Cheyenne counties in Colorado through 2 PM MST Saturday afternoon.
Blowing snow reducing visibilities is possible where a snowpack
lies.

Very cold temperatures and wind chills are forecast Saturday evening
through Tuesday morning across the entire area as an Extreme Cold
Watch has been issued. Wind chills ranging from 15 to 30 degrees
below zero are currently forecast. Be prepared for a prolonged period
of very cold conditions. Ensure pets, livestock and pipes are
protected from the cold. Be sure to check on the elderly during this
time.
